Location
Rinca Island is located in the west Flores close to Padar Island its take two hours from Labuan Bajo harbor by boat. The island is 198 square kilometers wide and a hamlet named Pasir Panjang consisting of several villages in it. Most of the population works as fishermen and selling food in a stall. This UNESCO heritage island is the second largest place habitat of the Komodo dragon after Komodo Island. Rinca Island filled with savanna and the dragons here is smaller in size than in Komodo Island.

Rinca Island is good for trekking because has a stunning savannah hills overlooking the sea. See the dragons from closer in their pure nature and other wild animals. But remember, you should be obeying the rules not to scream and make sudden movement near the dragons because they will aggressive and can attack you.
